2026 Wreath laying to celebrate Sir Edward Elgar's 169th birthday

Members of the Elgar Society joined Hilary Elgar whilst Fr Thomas gave a short talk on the musical achievements of both Sir Edward Elgar and Dorothy Howell, who is also buried in the graveyard. Fr Thomas then blessed the grave.
The weather was kind, allowing everyone to return to the parish room, for refreshments, before the rain came.
