Easter Vigil Mass

Once the sun had set on Holy Saturday it was time for the Easter Vigil Mass to commence. This heralds the first official celebration of Jesus Christ's Resurrection from the dead and is the greatest and most holy of all solemnities in the Catholic Church. Now that Lent had come to an end the church was decorated with many wonderful floral arrangements.
