Friday 16th September 2022 and the weather was being very kind to those attending an amazing event at Buckfast Abbey. This was the day when our own Br John George was ordained Fr John George. A group of parishioners were lucky enough to be present at the ordination. In answer to the question on the home page "when did the oldest meet the youngest?". Well Fr Christopher, who used to be the priest at St Wulstans, until his well earned retirement, is the oldest priest at Buckfast Abbey. After his ordination, Fr John is the youngest priest at Buckfast Abbey. So, there you have it. Just to clarify, Fr John is the one with the dark hair.......
