St Patrick's Day 2023

Just like any other year, St Patrick's Day was on 17th March once again. The big difference this year was that the parish was celebrating someone's 70th birthday. I've never met St Patrick (no surprise there then) but from what I've read about him I don't think he would of minded his feast day being "slightly" hijacked whilst we toasted Fr Patrick's event. It was, to say the least, an Irish themed evening hosted by Mary and Bernadette, with singing, reciting, eating and drinking (not too much of the latter) but I'm glad to say the Irish dancing was given a miss. I think most people would have been up for it but there wasn't the space......... (a smiley face should go in here).
